We pride ourselves in the quality of the componenets used in the manufacture and repair of doors. Many of these components, which are constructed from top quality materials, are manufactured in our own workshop/machine shop.
Ground lock unit
- The ground-lock unit comes complete with socket, eye-bolt and security pad lock
- The ground socket is spring loaded.
- This lock twists into the socket.
- Once the lock is in position, the shutter is lowered and the eyebolt which is fixed to the bottom rail of the shutter, sits alongside the ground eye bolt.
- Both of these are then locked into position with the padlock.
- For roller shutters that are over 3-metres wide we do recommend that 2no. ground locks are fitted for added security.
Two sizes of ground locks are available :-
70 mm for smaller doors
90 mm for more heavy duty applications
